Digital grain usually looks flat because the same pattern covers the whole image. Real film grain behaves differently in highlights, midtones and shadows. This Photoshop action copies that, applying grain selectively across the tones.
The result looks much closer to a film scan than Lightroom's or Capture One's grain slider. A good last step after a TAP film profile.
